Hawkins Present. Marshal D. A. Thomas Absent. Street Supervisor J. M. Wood. Present, READIMG OF MINUTES. The minutes of the regular meeting held January 10, 1951 were read. Councilman Kuhlhoff moved they be approved as read, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED. BILLS AND ACCOUNTS. Attorney Hawkins reported on occupational licenses. Councilman Kuhlhoff reported he had contacted the City Commissioners of The City of New Smyrna Beach in regard to the 6% rebate on the street lights. Councilman Kuhlhoff found the Commissioner were in doubt as to whether the street lights were included in the agreement, but they would look into the matter. They agreed to furnish the town with a monthly statement of current used, amount collected and the 6% rebate. COMMUNICATIONS. Clerk read the letter of resignation of Councilman W. L. Todd. Councilman Kuhlhoff moved this letter of resignation be accepted as of the date it was written January 20th, 1951, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED Aletter was read from D. K. McGinnis president of Greater New 6myrna Chamber of Commerce stateing that a program to advertise the City of New Smyrna Beach and the Tmwn of idgewater,explaining the type of publication and its costs and requesting Edgewater to join in this program. This was discussed and Council decided against any participation in this program. l..> ~ u J ORDINANCES. Ordinance No.184: entitled, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION THIRTEEN OF ORDINANCE NO.75 OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. The above and foregoing Ordinance upon second reading was passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, withoutany written objection being filed. Therefore, said Ordinance was passed and b~comes final upon the approval by the Mayor and posting by the Town Clerk, the vote of said Council on final being as follows: Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller Yes Councilman H. O. Kuhlhoff Yes. Councilman Kuhlhoff moved that a special election to elect a Councilman to serve the unexpired term of Councilman W. L. Todd, resigned, be held March 20, 1951, secondedcby Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED. Councilman Kuhlhoff moved we do now adjourn, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
