READING OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the regular meeting held Jecember 13, 1950 and the adjourned re~ular
meeting of December 27, 1950 held on January 9, 1951 were read. Councilman Kuhlhoff
moved they be approved as read, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote
CARRIED.

REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
Clerk read his cash statement and budget report for theperiod December 1st to 31st
1950. Clerk reported difficulty in collecting the utility tax, this to be investi-
gated be fore action is taken.
ORDINANCES.
Ordinance NO.184;entitled, AN ORDINANCEAMENDING SECTION THIRTEEN OF ORDINANCE No.
75 BF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. ,
The above and foregoing ordinance was read in full and passed by a majority vote
of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting on the
10th day of January, A. D. 1951. Due to the r'fact that one of the Council mambers
was absent, the above and foregoing ordinance was passed to second reading.

Council instructed the Clerk to write to the Commissino of New Smyrna Beach nnd
call thier attention to the fact that the difference between the old and new rate
for street lights had not been allowed, but it should be allowed and made retro-
active to June 1st, 1950 and a check for this amount be sent to Edgewater..
The Council also requests that a monthly statement of the current consumed ,the
amount collected and the 6% rebate, be furnished the Town each month.
E. H. Lohman again called attention of the Council to the vio~ation of the Build-
ing ordinance by T. ~. Peyton and asked what action was to be taken in this
matter, After some discussion Councilman Kuhlhoff moved that Attorney Hawkins
write Mr. Peyton callin his attention to the violation and inform him that he must
remove this building, seconoced by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
Councilman Kuhlhoff moved that we do now adjourn, seconded by Mayor-Councilman
Fuller and by vote CARRIED. TIME 8:15
