Declaring Nominees - Annual Election - 10-18-1950 u ~ "-' ~ RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NOMINEES FOR THE OFFICE OF TOVlN COUNCILMAN OF THE TOWN OF EDGE\V'ATER, FLORIDA, TO BE ELECTED AT THE MiNUAL TO~m ELECTION Tb BE HELD NOVEHBER 7th, 1950, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PREPARATION AND PRINTING OF BALLOTS FOR SAID ELECTION. WHEREAS, Petitions have been filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, to have the name of Edwin P. Fuller and Robert G. Reinwald placed on the ballot at the Annual Town Election to be held on November 7, 1950, for the office of member of the Tmv.n Council of said Town for the term beginning November 7, 1950, and WHEREAS, The said Petitions are in proper order and are signed by the requisite number of qualified electors in said Town; NOW THEREFORE : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUI'ifCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEV1ATER, FLORIDA: and Robert G. Reinwald . Edwin p. Fuller shall be placed on SECTION 1. That the names of official ballot as nominee for the office of Town Councilman of the To\~ of Edgewater, Florida, for the term beginning November 7, 1950, and the said Edwin P. Fuller and Robert G. RejnwAld are hereby declared to be duly nominated for said office, to be filled at the Annual Town Election to be held on said 7th day of November, 1950. SECTION 2. That there shall be printed 900 official ballots, with two stubs at the top, with perforations so that both may be readily torn from the ballot, upon unglazed white paper, for the ~"'\ U ~ v 'CJ use of the qualified el~ctors in the annual Town Election aforesaid, and that the said official ballot shall be in substantially the following form: OFFICIAL BALLOT ANNUAL OR GENERAL ELECTION NOVElvfBER 7th A. Reinwald SECTION 3. That 450 Specimen ballots shall also be printed for the information of the electors off said Town, which said Specimen ballots shall be printed on colored paper and upon said Specimen ballots there shall appear the heading "Specimen Ballot" instead of the words "Official Ballot.1I ~u ..
