REGULAR MEETING DE THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA
HELD APRIL 23, 1952.
The regular meeting of the Council was called to order by Mayor
Friedley at 7:30 P.M.

The minutes of the regular meeting of the Council held April 9th, 1952
were read. Councilman Gibbs moved these minutes be approved as read,
seconded by Councilman Haughton and by vote CARRIED.

Councilman Fuller moved these bills be approved as read, paid and be
made part of the minutes of the meeting, seconded by Councilman
Haughton and by vote CARRIED.
COMMUNICATIONS
Letters were read from Mr. Gaddis, Superintendent of the Florida East
Coast Railway regarding the drainage situation on Park Ave. and also
letters from Mr. Harris and Mr. Quincy regarding new Fire Equipment.
ORDINANCE
An Ordinance regulating outdoor and outside advertising signs of
Hotels, Apartment Houses, Rooming Houses, Motor Courts, Tourist Camps,
Trailer Camps, Motels, Tourist Courts and Like Establishments, was
read by Attorney Chisholm. Councilman Fuller moved a second reading
be waived" seconded by Councilman Gibbs. Roll Call vote was taken.

NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Gibbs talked on the Dock situation and urged that same be
completed as soon as possible. It was suggested that Mr. Moore and
Mr. Saxon be contacted to meet with the Council and get some figures
on the cost of finishing same.
There being no further business, Councilman Fuller moved we do now
adjourn, seconded by Councilman Gibbs, and by vote CARRIED
Time 8:10 P.M.
