The minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council held January
23, 1952. Councilman Fuller moved that these minutes be approved
as read, seconded by Councilman Gibbs, and by vote CARRIED.

Councilman Shaeffer moved that these bills be ,pproved as read, paid
and be made part of the minutes of the meeting, seconded by Councilman
Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
REe0RTS OF OFFICERS
The Clerk read the Budget Report and the Cash Report for the month of
January, 1952.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Popescu, representing the Florida Motor Court Association, asked
the Council to consider the passage of an ordinance regulating the use
of outdoor advertising signs. After a general discussion was held, it
was decided the Council would table the request, for further consider-
ation.
Councilman Shaeffer moved that a letter be written to the Florida East
Coast Railway, protesting the fact that nothing had been done by them
relative to the drainage situation along the railroad. He further asked
that future contacts be made by letter instead of personal contacts, as
had been done. This motion was not seconded or carried.

Attorney Chisholm reported that the abstract on the City Hall
property was in the process of being made.
There being no further business, Councilman Shaeffer moved we do
now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
