FLORIDA H1LD IN TH~ CITY HALL OC~OBER 24, 1951.
The readinE. of the minutes of the regular meeting held October 10, 1951 and the
special meeting held October 17, 1951 were read. Councilman Friedley moved these
minutes be approved as read,seconded by Councilman Gibbs and by vote CARRIED.

The folloeing bills were read;

Councilman Gibbs moved these bills be approved as read, paid and be made
these minutes, seconded by Councilman Friedley and by vote CARRIED.
Councilman Gibbs moved that Mrs.Florence B. Swiney beapnointed Clerk of election
and Mrs. Vera J. McLane, Mrs. Ethel E. Lear and ~1rs. LVdia M. LaBonde be a
appointed inspectors of election to be held November 6, 1951., seconded by
Councilman Friedley and by vote CARRIED.

A RESOLUTION entitled: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A CLEIUhAND THREE
INSPECTORS OF ELECTION FOR THE SPECIAL GITYELECTION TO Bl~ HELD'IM THE CITY OF
EDGEWATiR, FLORIDA, ON TUESDAY THE 6th DAY OF NOVEMBER 1951.
It was moved by Councilman Qibbs and seconded by Councilman Friedley the the
above and foregoing Resolution be apopted by the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, and be spread upon and made part of the minutes of this meet-
ing, held the 24th day of October, A. D. 1951. The ~otion carried, the result of
the Council being asfollows:
Mayor-Councilman Fuller Yes
Councilman Friedley Xes
Councilman Gibbs Yes
Council requested Attorney Hawkins to write a letter to the Florida East Coast
Railway, this letter'~to be in conjuuction with the letter of the County Attorney
to the railroad in regard to the drainage ditch west of the railroad.
Councilman Gibbs moved we do now adjourn, seconded by Cou 'lman Friedley and by
