Meeting called to order at 7:]0 P. M. by Mayor-Councilman Fuller. ROLL CALL. Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller Councilman R. T. Friedley Councilman J. H. Gibbs Clerk G. C. Spargo Police Officer G. E. Lear Present. Absent. . Present. Present. Present. The call for the meeting was read in full." Clerk reported that petitions had been filed to have the names of John H. Gibbs, Howard L~ Habghtop., A. Hussey, Herman John, E. A. ,embeck and Crawford C. Shaeffer, placed on the Official Ballot of the Special Election to be held November 6, 1951, for City Councilman. Upon examination the petitions were found to be signed by Twenty-Five qualified electors and to be in proper legal form. Councilman Gibbs moved these petitions be accepted and that ....,...,."JJJ"..'.....#names of John H. Gibbs"Howard L. Haughton, A. Hussey. Herman John, E. A. L~mbeck and Crawford C. Shaeffer be placed on the Official Ballot, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED. RESOLUTION. A RESOLUTION entitiled; RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NO~INEES FOR THE OFFICES OF CITY - COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO BE ELECTED AT THE SPECIAL ELECTIO] TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 6th, 1951, AND PROVIDING FOR THE P~EFARATION AND PRINTING OF BALLOTS FOR SAID ELECTION. This Resolution was read in full and passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at its meeting held on the 17th day of October A. D. 1951, the vote of the council being as follows: Mayor-Councilman Councilman Councilman Fuller Friedley Gibbs Yes Absent Yes.
