A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, held November 28th, 1955 was called to order by Mayor George O. Sedgwick at 1:30 P.M. ROLL CALL Mayor George O. Sedgwick Councilman D. Brannon, Jr. Present Present Present Present Present Present Present The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the purchase of new road machinery and financing same. Prices were received from the Taylor Tractor Co. and Daytona Truck & Equipment Co. Total Price $5,634.81/ 1,550.00 '4,084.81 $4,039.32/ 1,1~0.00 $2,8 9.32 Price on Diesel Tractor & Equipment Less Trade-in Old Tractor 1949 Model, Blake Mower and Road Plane Total Price Fordson Tractor - 860 and Equipment Less Same Trade-in Total Price $4,815.50 ( 1,240.50 ;jp3,575.00 International Farmall & Equipment Less same Trade-in Attorney Brannon was instructed to draw up a Resolution for the purchase of the International Farmall and Equipment and also get a letter from the Bank of New Smyrna regarding the financing. It was also decided at this meeting to have the Police Department make a full report every morning of all cases for the previous days. It was also decided to have another Special Meeting Thursday Morning at 9:00 o'clock at which time the Resolution would be presented. There being no further business Councilman Friedley moved we do now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Farrell and by vote CARRIED.
