SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
HELD NOVU~BER 28th, 1955.
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
held November 28th, 1955 was called to order by Mayor George O.
Sedgwick at 1:30 P.M.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the purchase of new
road machinery and financing same.
Prices were received from the Taylor Tractor Co. and Daytona
Truck & Equipment Co.

Attorney Brannon was instructed to draw up a Resolution for the
purchase of the International Farmall and Equipment and also
get a letter from the Bank of New Smyrna regarding the financing.
It was also decided at this meeting to have the Police Department
make a full report every morning of all cases for the previous days.
It was also decided to have another Special Meeting Thursday
Morning at 9:00 o'clock at which time the Resolution would be
presented.
There being no further business Councilman Friedley moved we do
now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Farrell and by vote CARRIED.
