SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
HELD JANUARY 18th, 1956.
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held January 18th, 1956 was called to order by Mayor
George O. Sedgwick at 1:)0 P.M.

The purpose of the meeting was to go over a new Water Contract
with Briley, Wild & Associates, Consulting Engineers. A
Mr. Dancer, a representative from T. R. Alcock & Co. Fiscal
AGents, was also present.
The City Attorney read the Contract and after discussing
various parts step by step a change was ordered under paragraph
(b) 1 same to read City to authorize continuance of prosecution
of contract. After this was done a Motion was made by Council-
man Friedley the Mayor and City Clerk sign this contract. Second-
ed by Councilman Washburn and by vote CARRIED. Roll call vote
being as follows:-

Mr. Dancer explained the proceedure to the sale of Revenue
Certificates and Mayor Sedgwick ask Mr. Dancer to submit offer
for sale of Revenue Certificates, same to be filed with the
City Clerk.
Mayor Sedgwick read old Ordinances to the City Council and
after a discussion the Mayor instructed the City Attorney to
draw up an Ordinance covering the collection of Garbage & Trash
the fee to be 50i per month or $5.00 per year, same to be paid
at the City Hall.
There being no further business Councilman Farrell moved we do
now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Washburn and by vote CARRIED.
