MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Linda Johnson called the regular meeting of the Citizen Code
Enforcement Board to order at 2:02 PM in the Community Center.
ROLL CALL
Members present: Linda Johnson, Ben Delnigro, Alice Haldeman,Jean Kayat and
Glenn Barnhill. Also present were Code Officer Mike McGrath, Code Supervisor
Angela DeSue and Fire Chief Tracey Barlow .
Excused from meeting: Ed Corn and Gene Mirabella
Present: Mr. Glenn Storch
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes for the regular meeting April 19, 2007 were presented to the Board
for approval.MOTION by Glenn Barnhill, SECOND by Ben Delnigro to
adopt the minutes of Regular Citizen Code Enforcement Board on
April 19, 2007 as written. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Code Officer Mike McGrath, Code Supervisor Angela DeSue.
NEW BUSINESS:
Case #2007-CE-100293, 435 Palmetto St., Edgewater, Florida; Repeat Violator;
Violation of Section 21-56.03 – Property Maintenance.
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff’s recommendation to find Cecil Brown in

repeat violation of Section 21-56.03 of the Land Development Code assessing a
citation fine of $150.00 and an additional fine of $100.00 per day for each day
the violation exists past May 18, 2007. Also for a lien to be placed on the
property if not satisfied by May 23, 2007. It was also recommended that the
board issue a Board Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of
the grass by City staff if the violation is not corrected by May 23,2007 and that a
lien be placed on the property .The Board had a brief discussion.MOTION by
Ben Delnigro, SECOND by Jean Kayat that the Board finds Cecil Brown.
