RESOLUTION
WHEREAS Senator Walter G. Walker-has rendered untiring
and invaluable service to the Town of Edgewater and has
passed, in the 1947 Legislature of the State of Florida,
the legislation needed by the Town of Edgewater, Florida;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater,
Florida, for and on behalf of the Town 0 f Edgewater and its
people, does hereby express its gratitude and thanks to the
Hon. Walter G. Walker, Senator for the 28th District of the
State of Florida, for his interest in and service to the
Town of Edgewater, and its inhabitants, and for the passage
of Senate Bills Nos. 517, 518 and 519 at the 1947 session of
the Florida State Legislature.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be trans-
mitted to the Honorable Walter G. Walker.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
The above Resolution was read in full and passed by the unanimous
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida,
at a regular meeting on the 23rd day of July A.D. 1947.
Upon Motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the
requirement of reading said Resolution upon second reading was
waived, and this Resolution was ordered put upon its final
passage.
