CINDING ANY PRIOR RESOLUTION In CONFLICT
HERE NITH.
rmgREAS, Under the provisions of Chapter 21210 of the
Laws of Florida of 1941 the Town of Edgewater is
autl.orized to compromise, settle and adjust Town taxes
prior to the year of 1936 on a uniform basis, and
i'lliEREAS, The Town Council deems it to the best interest
of said Town to liberalize the provisions of the
present existing regulations concerning the settlement
of such taxes in order to encourage tax settlements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY Tl-IB TmlN COUNCIL OF
THE TO',m OF EDGEWATZR:
Section 11 That in all cases where it is desired to
cornpl"'om~se, settle and adjust delinquent Town taxes of
the Town of Edgewater, Florida where taxes are
delinquent and unpaid prior to the year 1936, all of
said taxes and penalties to and including the year of
1935 shall be canceled upon the paymellt of all Town
taxes assessed in 1936 and subsequent years.
Section 21 That this Resolution shall Ba supersede
and rescind all prior Resolutions of said Council
of Edgewater, Florida relating to the compromise,
