Section 1. That it is hereby declared to be
the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater,
b'lorida, by proper_' Ordinance pursuant to Section 4, of
Article VI, of Ordinance ~o. 75 of said Town, to vacate the
fol.1.owing a.1.1ey in said Town, to-Vlit:ttGarage Dri,;:ell, more
particularly described as follows:
From its intersection with the Dixie
Highway running easterly to its intersection with
Fernald Street, bounded on the south by Lots
20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 and 38, and on the
north by Lots 19, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 and 37,
of'ur. Davis Forster, Trustee's Hesubdivision of
the block of lots 277 to 316 inclusive of hawks
Park company's Subdi~ision per map in Map Book 1,
page 156, public records of Volusia County, Flori-
da, said Alley being eighteen (18) feet in width
throughout.
Section 2. Objections to the vacating of said
Al.1.ey shall be heard by the said Town Council at its regu-
lar meeting to be held at the V. I. A. or Town Hall in said
Town, at 7:30 o'clock, r. M., on Tuesday, the 1st day of
September, A. D. 1942.
Section 3. ~otice of the hearing of objections,
as provided in section 2 hereof, shall be given by the Town
Clerk ot" said Town and shall be served upon all property
owners abutting on both sides of said Alley in the manner
provided in Section 4 of Article VI of Ordiaance ~o. 75,
which Notice shall be served not less than ten days prior to
the said 1st day of September, 1942.

Section 4. After hearing said Objections, if
any, or in the absence of \.Ibjections thereto, the said
Town Council shall then consider the propriety and advise
ability of vacating said Alley.
The adoption of the above and foregoing Reso-
lution was moved by CounciLman Bailey, seconded by Mayor-
Councilman Stalnaker, and passed by the Town Council 01' the
Town of Edgewater, i'lorida, in open session on the 18th day
of August, A. D. 1942, the vote of the Council being as
follows,
