R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, certain trees on Ridgewood Avenue in Edgewater, Florida
are located so closely to the highway that they constitute a
serious menace to traffic and should be removed, and
WHEREAS, certain approaches to said Ridgewood Avenue are in need
of repair and likewise it has been brought to the attention of
the Council that the shoulders of said highway are in need of
repair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town
of Edgewater, Florida that the State highway Department of the
State of Florida be re uested to remove the following trees
along Ridgewood Avenue in Edgewater, Florida:
Live oak trees, 157 Feet south of South Canal, west side of
road, 22 inches from pavement.
Water Oak tree , 63 Feet north of Knapp Avenue, west side of
road, 40 inches from edge of pavement.
Palmetto tree on southwest corner of Knapp Avenue about 36
inches from pavement.
Cedar tree, 44 Feet south of Knapp Avenue , west side of
road, 34 inches from pavement.
Palmetto tree, 168 Feet south of Knapp Avenue, west side of
road, 18 inches from pavement.
Palmetto tree, 168 feet south of Knapp Avenue, east side of
road, 18 inches from pavement.
Hickory tree, 175 feet south of Yelka Terrace , west side of
road, 8 inches from pavement.
`later Oak tree , 205 feet south of Yelka Terrace , east side
of road, 34 inches from pavement.
Hickory tree , 30 feet north of Evergreen Street, west side of
road, 18 inches from pavement.
Water Oak tree (dead) , 118 feet north of Evergreen Street,
west side of road. Although this tree is not close enough
to pavement to be considered as dangerous, limbs have fallen
from this tree obstructing traffic on two previous occasions.

Hickory Tree, 22 feet north of Evergreen Street, vast `
side of road, 28 inches from pavement.
Bay tree, 42 feet north of Evergreen Street, .mast side of
road, 23 inches from pavement.
Water Oak (center decayed) about 250 feet south of Ever-
green Street, east side of road, in fornt of E. H. Lohman
property. Although this tree is not close enough to edge
of pavement to be considered hazardous, however, the decayed
condition of this tree , liable to fall across the highway
during a high wind, we deem it advisable to remove this tree.
Palm tree, about 150 feet south of Pine Bluff Street, east
side , 34 inches from pavement.
Tine tree , just south of Culvert south of Pine Bluff Street,
east side, 32 inches from pavement.
Large pine tree west side of road in front of Wilcox pro-
perty just south of above pine tree.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said State Highway Department be
and it is hereby requested to cause the approaches to and the
shoulders of said highway where necessary to be repaired and
placed in a safe condition as quickly as possible.
