Mayor Sedgwick announced the only thing on the agenda for this ~~eting was
the reading of the Water- Bond Indenture Ordinance, which must be acted upon.
Attorney John Chisholm read the Ordinance in full and it was discussed b.Y
the Council and also citizens from the floor. After a lengthy discussion
the Ordinance vIas acted upon as follows:- Copy of the action as requested
by the Federal Housing & Home Administration is attached to this original
copy.

Tho a.bove Ordinance 'wae read in full by Attorney Chisholm and motion duly made
by Councilman Farrell, seconded by Councilman Shaeffer and unanimously carried,
the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and
the ordinance was put upon final passage. Roll call vote being as follows:-

Upon motion duly made by Councilman Farrell this ordinance be adopted seconded
by Councilman Broga and passed by the vote of the City Council of the' City of
Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 3rd day of March, 195B.
Passed by the vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater Florida at a
regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of March, A: D. 1958 and
approved as provided by law, the vote of said Council on roll call being as

The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, met
in regular session on the date aforesaid, at 7:30 otclock P.M., at
City Hall in said city. The meeting was called to
order by the Mayor, awl the roll being called there were present

named councilmen: Broga, Councilman Shaeffer, Councilman Henry and

Absent: None.
Councilman Farrell introdu^*@d in typewritten
form and caused to be read in full a proposed ordinance entitled:
"AN O INuANCE providing for the acquisition, construction
and establ.ishmert of a municipal water works system by the
City of ?:dgewater, Florida, and authorizing and providing
for the issuance, sale and delivery of 7d1.00,000 Water
Pevenue Certificates o2 said city in connection therewith
and providing for the payment of such certificates solely
from the net revenues of such waterworks and from the
proceeds of the utilities tax being imposed by Ordinance
No. 13 adopted Jarnaary 23, 1952."
There was then presented to the City Council and duly
considered the certificate of the City Clerk with respect to the adequacy
of money required for the contracts, agreements, obligations and expend—
itures as contemplated by said proposed ordinance, which certificate was
ordered filed and u.' -•,ately recorded.
It was ed by Councilman Farrell and seconded by
Councilman Shaeffer that all rules and requirements for several
readings or deferred consideration of said proposed ordinance be suspended
and that said proposed ordinance be considered for adoption at this tine.
1 The Mayor having put the question on the motion the roll was called and

Nay: None.
Thereupon the Mayor declared said n Lon duty carried and
such rules and requirements suspended by unanimous approval.
It was thereupon moved by C:ouncilman Farrell and
seconded by Councilman Broga that said ordinance be adopted. Upon
due consideration the Mayor having put the question on the motion the
roll was called and the following voted:

Whereupon the ii ayor declared the motion duly carried and
said ordinance duly adopted.

Gentleman:
Referring to the proposed ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE Prov .din ; for the acquisition, construction and
establishment of a municipal water works system by the City of
Edgewater, Florida, and authorizing and providing for the
issuance, sale and delivery of -;4OO,00C() Uater Revenue Certificates
of said city in connection therewith and providing for the payment
of such certificates solely from the net revenues of such water-
works and from the proceeds of the utP i t-ies tax being imposed by
Ordinance No. 13 adopted January 23, 1352,"
the undersigned, as City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, hereby
certifies, prior to the adoption of said proposed ordinance, that within
1 the purview of Section 46 of the Charter of said city the money required
for the contracts, agreements, obligations and expenditures, as con .em-
plated by said proposed ordinance, is in the depository to the credit of
the fund from which it is to be drawn, and not appropriated for any other
purpose. In making the foregoing certification all moneys applicable to
the pays nt of said contracts, amreements, obligations and expenditures
anticipated to come into the depository before the amounts called for
thereby become due from the net revenues of the municipal waterworks
system and the utilities tax, as therein referred to , and from the issuance
and sale of the v;ater Revenue Certificates to be authorized by said pro-
posed ordinance, are deemed in the depository to the credit of the appropriate
funds and subject to this certification.
IN WITNESS VagfiDaF the undersigned has hereunto affixed his
