Vacating P B Dicks Subdivision - 08-18-1936 r wermikl t TO: THE HONORABLE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, GREETINGS: Comes now Percival B. Dick of New York City, New York by his attorneys and counsellors at law Fullerton and Duss and petitions your Honorable Body to adopt a resolution and certify the same vacating, as provided by Chapter 14822'Acts of the Legislature of 1931, that certain subdivision lying and being in the Town of Edgewater, County of Volusia, more particularly known distinguished and described as follows, to-wit: Dixwood, P. B. Dick's Subdivision in Edgewater, Beginning at a stake on North line of a tract and the East side of the New Smyrna and Oak Hill Road and running in an Easterly direction 950.5 feet to River Road; thence along said River Road 248.8 feet to South line of Section 50; thence Westerly 935.1 to East side of Oak Hill and New Smyrna Road; thence 249.4 feet along East side of said road to point of beginning in Section 50, Township 17 south, Range 34 east, and being a resubdivision of Lot 6 of Assessors Sub. of Sheppard Grant. Map of said subdivision being recorded in the public records of Volusia County, Florida in Nun Book 8, page 73. Your petitioner shows unto this Honorable Body that he is the owner in fee simple of all the right, title,' interest in and to the above and foregoing described part or parcel of land and or subdivision sought to be vacated. That upon the adoption of said resolution said petitioner expects to apply as in such cases by statute made and pro- vided to the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of the County of Volusia for the adoption of a resolution vacating said plat or subdi- vision and your petitioner shows unto your Honorable Body that he has raid all town taxes including the current year on said above described Dronerty. orrolom iumwm • WHEREFORE your petitioner prays your Honorable Body to adopt a resolution vacating said subdivision as above described at a regular meeting there assembled or at such other time as may be convenient to the Council.
