NEW BUSINESS :
Mayor Renwick, stated that Government Inspector
had ordered the dirt removed from ditches in drainage project
pulled back 20 feet from the banks , to prevent it washing back
into ditch, and that the Town would have to furnish the necessary
tools to do this with, and would require two potatoe forks and
2 grub hoe handles ( replacements ) . MOTION by Councilman H .P .
Wilkinson, seconded by Councilman J.J.Francis , that Mayor Renwick
be authorized to purchase two potatoe forks end 2 grub hoe handles
for Town use. Motion unanimously carried.
Mayor Renwick stated that Mr.Kuhloff had requested
the Town toinstall a street light in the vicinity of the paint
factory. After discussion it appeared that the cost to the Town
would be much more than was justified and no action was taken by
the Council in this matter.
MOTION by Councilman H.P .'9iikinson, seconded by Councilman J.J.
Francis , to adjourn until 5 O' clock P.M. Monday November 6th
1933. notion carried.
