County , Florida_, in the Year A.D. 1933; Prescribing the Time and Place of holding such Election; Prescrib- ing the Purpose thereof; Prescribing the rules by which such Election shall be governed; Pres cribing e Time the Polls shall open and close and ,providing for Notice of such Election. WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater , Volusia County , Florida, is authorized and empowered under sad by virtue of the authority vested in it by laws of the 'tate of Florida and the Ordinances of the Town of Edgewater, Vo- lusia County, Florida, to call an annual election for the aforesaid Town , and prescribe by Resolution the time and place of holding such election and the purpose thereof , and, WHEREAS , it is -:proper for the aforesaid Town Council to order an annual election to be held in the aforesaid Town for the puroose of electing one (1) Councilman for a term of three (3) years, and for the further purpose of electing a Torn Clerk for a term of one (1) year, ( or until his or their successors are duly elected and cualified) now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDEWATER VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section 1. That an annual election be, and the same is hereby ordered to be held, in the Torn of Edgewater , Volusia County, Florida, at the Town. Hall, otherwise known as the Community or V.I.A. Hall , on TUESDAY the SEVENTH DAY OF NOVEMBER, A.D. , 1933, tor the purpose of electing one Councilman for a term of three (3) years, and for the further purpose of electing a 'lorn Clerk for the term of one (1) year , or until his or their successors are duly elected and qualified. Section 2. That at the annual election hereby ordered, the same rules that apply to general elections under the laws of the State of Florida, and the Ordin nces of the Torn of Edge- water, Volusia County, Florida, shall bd observed. That the polls at the foregoing named voting Place shall open at 8:00 o ' clock A.M. and shall close at Sundown , Eastern Standard Time , on the day of said election. Section 4. That the clerk of the Ton of Edgewater , Volusia County , Florida., be and he ,is hereby instructed to give Notice of the Annual Election hereby ordered, by posting the notice to be hereinafter set forth, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date upon ihich the said election, hereby ordered, is set , in three (3) different conspicious places in the said Town, one of which places shall be at the front door of the Torn Hall, otherwise kno-.-n as the Communi- ty or V.I.A. Hall in said Town. Section 5.
