NEW BUSINESS
Acting~~ayor Shaeffer asked if anyone in the audience had anything to
discuss. Mr. Piser mentioned that it would be a benefit to have the
County supervise the registr.ation, to avoid all the confusion of the
present necessity of two registrations. Others in the audience agreed.
Acting Mayor Shaeffer said he was not 'For' or 'Against'. Attorney
Chisholm suggested that the Council meet with Mrs. Odham. Acting Mayor
Shaeffer instructed the Clerk to phone Mrs. Katherine Odham the follow-
ing morning inviting her to come to a meeting at City Hall, 2:00 P.M.
Thursday, September 10th. He also invited anyone who is interested to
attend.
Mr. Ralph Beach invited the City Council to attend a meeting of the
Edgewater Property Owners Association, 7:30 P.M. Friday the 18th of
September, at the Community Center.
Mr. Piser thanked the City Council for the1improvement made in the Old
City Hall for the future use of the Chamber of Commerce and the Library.
There being no further business Acting Mayor Shaeffer recessed the meet-
ing until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday to hear Mrs. Katherine Odham.
