The purpose of the ~eeting was to pass Resolution declaring the results of
the Special Election held to fill the vacancy in District #1 and seat the
cle,.rly elected candidate bJr administering the Oath of Office by the City Clerk.
RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTIO]\ DECLARn:G THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY
OF EDGEfrlATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, OJI! THE 8th DAY OF NOVEl1BER, A. D. 1960
lJ;D PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE CITY OFFICER
CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION.
The above and foregoing Resolution declaring George V. Beck to be the winner
in the election, was introduced by Councilman Seng who moved this resolution
be adopted, which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Smith and upon a roll
call vote taken, the same was declared adopted this 9th day of November, A.D.

The Clerk than ask the newly elected officer, Mr. Beck, to present his cer-
tificate of election. The Oath of Office was then given and Councilman Beck
was welcomed to the Council table.
There being no further business Councilman Seng moved we do now adjourn,
seconded by Councilman Smith and by vote C.~.
