A Resolution Receiving the Election

Returns for the General Election held
on the 12th day of November, A. D. 1928,
in and for fhe Town of Edge-.zwater, Florida.
' EREAS, the C'erk and Inspectors for the
Regular, Annual, General Election held in and for the
Town of Ed ewet,er, Volusia County, Florida, on Monday,
the 12th day of November, A. D. 1928 have certified
duplicate the results of said election, ADD
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk hes transmitted the
returns to the Town Counci'! accordance with law duly
made and rrovi ded, AND
WEREAS, it arj ears from the dupli.ce:te returns
that E . A. Lembec'k, Esquire, received the highest number of
votes cast for Mayor of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, AID
WEREAS, it e ears from the duplicate returns
that W. T. Goodyear, H. A. Moore, and Phil Mar?, Jr. , Esq. ,
received the hio'hest number of votes cast for the three
offices of Councilmen or Aldermen of the Town of Edgewater,
Florida, for terms of two years each, AND
WHEREAS, it arrears from the duplicate returns
that F. R. Renwick, Esc . , received the highest number of
votes cast for the office of Councilman or Alderman to fill
the unexpired term of E. N. DeWitt , AND

returns that R. C . Fuller. Esq. , received the highest
number of votes cast for the office of Clerk of the
Town of Edgewater, Florida, AND
WHEREAS, it arrears from the d9 rl icato
returns that Paul D. Leddin, Esq. , received the hiFheet
number of 'Totes cast for the office of Treasurer of the
Tow:, of Edieeva:ter, Florida, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNCOUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF EDLEWATER, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section .1 , That the results shown by
the Clerk and Insrectors of the aforesaid General Election
held in and for the Town of Ed.aewater, Florida, on 17(12th
day of November, A. D. 1928 , be and the same are herebv�'t,,
be the results of the election.

Section 2 . That E . A. Lembeok, Esq. , be and
he is hereby declared lesff1'y elected to the office of Mayor,
to serve a term of one year from the passage of this
Resolution.
Section 3. That W. T . Goodyear. H. A. Moore
and Phil Mar?, Jr . , Esq. , he and +he?s are hereby n r mmund
declared to be duly and legally elected to the three offices
of Councilmen or Aldermen, to serve terms of two years each,
bed;inning with the rassage of this Resolution.
Section 4, That F. R. Renwick, Esa. , be
and he is hereby declared to be duly and legally elected to
the office of Councilman or Alderman, to serve a term of one
year from the r assa7e of this Resolution.

and he is hereby declared to be duly and legally elected to
the office of Town Clerk to serve a term of one year, beo-inninc,
with the passage of this Resolution.
