A RESOLUTION,
TO ADOPT ORDINANCE NO 23, BEING AN ORDINANCE
SETTING FORTH AND NALaNG THE ALTUNT OF RATE OF
TAXATION' 22.RxWaxlkARxIgka FOR THE TOWN OF
EDGEti;ATER, 1-J RIDA.
W1 RE.ASg It becomes the duty of the Town Council,
to provide , by taxation for the maintamnnllee and
proper operation of the Town of Edgewater. , and
WHEREAS ; It appears after due consideration and
and deliberation, that the requirements for the
Town of Edgewater, will be approximately $4,500.00
for the year beginning November first A.D. 1928. ,
and,
WHEREAS ; Property values have been greatly reduced,
as assessed by the Tax Assessor, and therefore , it
becomes necessary to increase the tax levy to ai
rate sufficient to provide the necessary funds for
the proper conduct and operation of the Town of
Edgewater, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That Ordinance Number 23, which is
submitted herewith,be declared an emmergency measure ,
and passed to its third i'eFP tng and final reading.
Appseted and adopted by the vote of all members present
