The following Resolution was intuoduced by Mr. Patch.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the office of Tax Assessor of the Town of
Edgewater has become vacant through the resignation
of the incumbent, H. B. Ashcraft, and
ZVHEEAS, it is deemed to the best interests of the
people of Edgewater, and of thek Town, to make an
appointment to fill this vacancy, said appointment
to empire at the completion of the present term of
the office,

EDGE"WATER, FLORIDA, that
Sec. 1. The offices of the Toanl Clerk and of the
Town Tax Assessor be, and the same herebya are,
consolidated, until the next general election, by
virtue of power conferred in section 1888 , Title
X, Division 1, chap ter 1, of the ueneral nevi sed
Statutes of the S4ate of Florida.
Sec. 2. The Town ulexk is hereby appointed to
fill the unexpired term of Tax Assessor.

The resolution was then declared carried, and of full
force and effect.
On motion by Mr. Patch, seconded by ter. Lohman, the
meeting was adjourned until Mir 20th at 8pm.
