Building Permit r.equests werevsubmitted and read as fOllows.1
1. Used car lot (U.S.#l) by ttichard i. Walsh. Motion to
approve by L.E. Harris, second by James Mackie. Plans
studied and discussed, motion approved 7-0.
2. Remodeling at Trailer Park by Dr. .1!;.P.Davis. Motion
to approve by James Mackie, second by John Brittingham.
~lans studied and discussed, motion approved 8-0.
3. Sandwich Shop extension by Earl ~L'ingle. r"lotion to
approve by tom Loveland, second by L.E.Harris. Plans
studied and discussed, motion approved 8-0.
4. New Building on W. Park Ave. by ~'ranklin Hall Plumbing
Co. ( No plans submitted) Motion by John Brittingham
to have Mr. Hall submit plans and supporting documents
to this Board before any permmt action is taken. Second
by James Mackie. Motion approved 8-0.
Discussion followed concerning Board's responsibility on
the future issuance of bldg. permits. Adoption of new fees
will be 30 days after new ordinance is passed by City
Council. Mr. Mackie & Mr Wiggins were appointed by Mr.
Wolfe to check permit requests to see if proper zoning
applies before action is taken by full board. Suggestion
was given by ~om Loveland that some consideration of
remuneration by City be given to these two people.
Water & Sewer Rates: Discussion of the proposed new rates
generated the following changes: That the Commercial part
be changed to read " Commercial & Industrial" and also
under this heading the sewer rates be changed to read
" Sewer- $5.50 minimum or 50% of water bill if higher.
"Multiple Dwelling" - Lawer was asked to rewrite definition.
Also under this heading garbage rate to read: Garbage-
$2.25 per unit.
"'frailer Courts" garbage rate to read: "Garbage- $2.25-
each unit for 3 cans- ~n.oo each extra can. This charge is
for occupied spaces only. Also Sewer - $3.75 for each
occupied pad.
"School"- Sewer rate to remain at 10~ for each student
and personnel.
"Laundries" Delete this section. To come under Commercial
Industrial section. Motion was made to submit this new
recommendation to City Council by Tom Loveland & Second by
Jack Brittingham. Motion approved 8-0.
Connection Charge Revisions: Discussion included suggest-
ion to change 2" line charges to $315.66 and inclu~e to
following: Any service over 2 inch shall be determ~ned at
time of installation due to cost rise. (Ord. * 660)
Motion to submit these new rates to City by Tom Loveland
Second by L.E.Harris. Motion approved 8-0.

Water Connection Fees: Discussion of this reccommend-
ation generated the following motion by James Mackie
that a new Ordinance be drawn by Attorney to include
new fees and that these fees be put into the Renewal
& Replacement Fund for Expansion of water and/or
sewer systems only. Motion seconded by Wm. Nichols.
Motion approved 8-0.
Land Use Maps: Discussion of this matter generated
the following recommendations:
That right of way lines be fixed as of a fixed date.
That Commercial property be established at 250' or
as deemed necessary by Board.
Suggestion was made that Robert Wolfe Draw up a pro-
posed map for discussion by board at next meeting.
Motion to adjourn was made by L.E.Harris , second
by Jack Brittingham. Meeting adjuurned at 11:01 PM.
