As a result of a false alarm that occurred on November 27, 2023 at the above -listed address, the
City became aware of failure to acquire an alarm pen -nit, therefore, the City hereby claims the amount of
FIFTY AND 00/100 dollars ($50.00) plus any recording fees, foreclosure costs, attorney's fees and simple
interest in the amount of seven (7%) per annum from (lie date this lien is filed. Such lien shall be prior to
all other liens on such property except the lien of state, county, and municipal taxes and shall be on a parity
with the lien of such state, county and municipal taxes.

We became aware of an alarm system at your location due to a recent false
alarm. You are hereby notified that to have an alarm system in Edgewater it
must be registered with the City. The cost to register an existing alarm is $50.00.
All new alarms can be registered at no charge provided the application is
submitted within 30 days from the installation date. If there is no longer an alarm
at your location; please inform our office of that as well.
Pursuant to Edgewater Resolution No. 2020-R-21, you are hereby assessed a
fee of $50.00. If this is a new installation, please provide the City Clerk's office
with your alarm permit application and a copy of the installation certificate. If the
payment is not received within thirty days of the date of this letter, a lien will be
recorded. Payment may be mailed to the City Clerk, P.O. Box 100 Edgewater,
FL 32132-0100 or delivered to 104 N. Riverside Drive. The cut off portion of the
letter below must be included with the payment. If you have any questions,
please call (386) 424-2400 ext 1102.
If you believe the alarm was not an alarm as defined in Section 12-61 Edgewater
Code of Ordinances, you may appeal that decision to the Special Magistrate,
(386)424-2400 ext 2210, pursuant to Section 12-67, Edgewater Code of
Ordinances.
