EDGEWATER ZONING BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
JANUARY 17, 1978
Chairman Wolfe called the Special meeting of the
Edgewater Zoning Board to order on January 17, 1978
at 7:45 P.M. in the City Clerk's office.

Chairman Wolfe asked Mr. and Mrs. Iasimone to please
state their business. Mrs. Iasimone stated that they
would like to sellRecreational Vehicles on consignment
at 1701 S. Ri dgewood Ave. The vehi cl es wi 11 be on the
property owned by Mr. and Mrs. Iasimone just north of
D.& A. Tires. Chairman Wolfe stated that they will have
to go to the State for a license to sell these vehicles.
Chairman Wolfe stated that this type of business is
under special exceptions in B-3. 1701 S. Ridgewood Ave.
falls under the B-3 Zoning.
Mr. Nichols made a motion to allow D. & A. Tires to
obtain a Occupational license for this business. They
will have to go through the state. Mr. Bartholomew
made the second. CARRIED. 5-0
Chairman Wolfe told Mr. and Mrs. Iasimone that they will
have to have a seperate building for this sales. This
will be explained to them by the State.

~r. Earl Wallace was present at the meeting to discuss
the Gen-Way Ent. Inc. They have applied for an
Occupational license for a Gift and Hobby Store located
at 2020 S. Ridgewood Ave. This is zoned B-5 and this
type of business is permitted.
This was passed on January 10, 1978 at the regular meeting
5- O.
There was much discussion on the B-3 Special Exception.
The Board finally decided to have the following go to
the City Attorney for his opinion.

Addition to Special Exceptions in B-3.
Requirements 5,000square foot building Minimum
All assemblage to be done entirely indoors, with no
no,ise,- no smoke, no odor, no fire hazard. No
unsightly clutter would be permitted outside
building, and no excessive traffic and working hours
would be limited to daylight until dark.
There was a motion to adjourn.
