Pursuant to the provisions of Section 12-67, Code of Ordinances, City of Edgewater, Florida, a lien
against the following described real property located in Volusia County, Florida is hereby created in favor
of the City of Edgewater:

1714 S RIDGEWOOD AVE, EDGEWATER FL 32132) Parcel 4 8402-28-02-0070.
The record owner is DISCOUNT AUTO PARTS INC, ATTN TAX ACCOUNTING, PO
BOX 2710, ROANOKE, VA 24001.
As the result of FOUR (4) false alarms occurring on December 6, 2023 (12:56am), December 10,
2023 (9:56pm), December 30, 2023 (5:04am) and January 11, 2024 (3:48am), the City hereby claims the
fine amount of FIFTY and 00/100 dollars ($50.00) plus any recording fees, foreclosure costs, attorney's
fees and simple interest in the amount of eight (8) % per annum from the date this lien is tiled. Such lien
shall be prior to all other liens on such property except the lien of state, county, and municipal taxes and
shall be on a parity with the lien of such state, county and municipal taxes.

If you believe the activation of the alarm was not a false alarm as defined in Section 12-61
Edgewater Code of Ordinances, you may appeal that decision to the Special Magistrate pursuant to
Section 12-67, Edgewater Code of Ordinances (386)424-2400 ext 2210.
