Budd, Chairman of the Zoning Board, Mr. Phillip Bebbington ca11~d the Public Hearing to order at 7:30 P.M. in the Edgewater Community Center. ROLL CALL: James L. Budd, Chairman W. K. Robinson Robert Fisher Phillip Bebbington Thomas B. Loveland Absent Present Present Present Present Mr. Bebbington read the pertinent letters and request for the. purpose of rezoning the property presently residential to Resort Residential Planned Unit Development, and to approve preliminary development plan. The Chair then called upon :all qualified freeholders present to be heard with regard to developing the Mike Caldwell property adjacent to Silver Ridge. Mr. Fisher asked if this was to be for Senior Citizens or anybody. Mr. Bebbinrton clarified by stating it was a Town House develop- ment for a 1 people including children. Mr. Robinson questioned the maintenance of the properties and Mr. Howard explained that this is taken care of by the home owners in that they put a certain amount into a "kitty" to cover maintenance of entire development. Also, maintenance equipment will be stored in a storage room which will be a part of the Recreation Building. Mr. Fisher asked Mayor Armstrong about the security and safety of the occupants, and Ma~or Armstrong stated that it would necessitate increasing t e Police force of Edgewater. t /1 . I . . Mr. Loveland was concerned about the water and sewage for the development, and Mayor Armstrong explained that the facility to be installed by Fall of 1972 will be completed in time to 1~ke care of this. Mr. Fisher's question regarding sufficient electrical power was answered by Mayor Armstrong in that there will be no problem there at all. The blueprints and plans of the development were displayed and explained by Mr. Howard with all aspects being fully covered. At this time Mr. Bebbington asked for the motion to approve the rezoning. Mr. Fisher made the motion for the approval of the variance; said motion being seconded by Mr. Robinson.
