to register the alarm system, therefore, the City hereby claims a lien in the amount of FiFTY AND 00/100 dollars
(550.00) plus any recording fees, foreclosure costs, atiorncy's fees and simple interest in the amount of eight (8) %
per antrum from the date this lien is filed. Such lien shall be prior to all other liens on such property except the lien of
state, county, and municipal taxes and shall be on a parity with the lien of such state, county and municipal taxes.

We have been made aware of a possible alarm system at your location as the result of a false agarm that occurred
on July 16, 2023. In order to have an alarm system in Edgewater it must be registered with the City. The cost to
register an existing alarm is $50.00. All new alarms can be registered at no charge provided the application is
Submitted within 30 days from the installation date. if there isn't an alarm system at your location, please inform
our office of that as well.
If you have an Marm system at your location, please fill out the enclosed alarm permit application and provide it to
the City Clerk's office along with payment for $50.00 so we may register your alarm system. If payment is not
received within thirty days of the date of this letter, a lien may be recorded, Payment can be mailed to the City
Clerk, P 0 Box 100, Edgewater, FL 32132-0100 or delivered to 104 N Riverside Drive. The Cut off portion of the
letter below must be included with the payment. If you have any questions, please call (386) 424-2400 Ext 1103.
After the alarm system is registered with us, we will forward you the Resolution and Ordinance with regard to
having an alarm, system in Edgewater as well as a decal that we ask be posted in a conspicuous location so it can be
seen by a police officer or firefighter that may respond to your location.
