failure to register the alarm system, therefore, the City hereby claims a lien in the amount of FIFTY AND 00/100
dollars ($50.00) plus any recording fees, foreclosure costs, attorney's fees and simple interest in the amount of eight
(8) % per annum from the date this lien is filed. Such lien shall be prior to all other liens on such property except the
lien of state, county, and municipal taxes and shall be on a parity with the lien of such state, county and municipal
taxes.

We have recently been made aware you are the current alarm user at this location as a result of a false alarm that
occurred at your location,. You are hereby notified that to have an alarm system in Edgewater it must be
registered with the City. The cost to register an existing alarm is $50,00. All new alarms can be registered at no
charge provided' the application is submitted within 30 days from the installation date. if there is no longer an
alarm at your location, please inform our office of that as well.
Pursuant to Edgewater Resolution No. 2020-R-21, you are hereby assessed a fee of $50.00. If this is a new
installation, please provide the City Clerk's Office with your alarm permit application and a copy of the installation
certificate. if the payment is not received within thirty days of the date of this letter, a lien will be recorded.
Payment may be mailed to the City Clerk, P 0 Box 100, Edgewater, FL 32132-0100 or delivered to 104 N Riverside
Drive. The cut off portion of the letter below must be included with the payment. If you have any questions,
please call (386) 424-2400 Ext 1102.
If you believe the alarm was not an alarm as defined in Section 12-61, Edgewater Code of Ordinances, you may
appeal that decision to the Special Magistrate, (386) 424-2400 Ext 2210, pursuant to Section 12-67, Edgewater
Code of Ordinances.
There should also be a decal posted somewhere in a conspicuous place near the entrance and visible from outside
the premises. If there is no decal, please let us know and we will be happy to send you a replacement decal.
After the registration has been updated, we will forward you the Resolution and Ordinance with regard to having
an alarm system in Edgewater,
