Riverside Drive Edgewater, FL 32132 Council Chambers Present 5 - Mike Thomas, Board Member Kimberly Yaney, Board Member Megan O'Keefe, Board Member Christine Power and Board Member Christine Power Also Present 3 - City Manager Glenn Irby, City Clerk/Paralegal Robin Matusick CMC and Samantha Bergeron 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Minutes from the April 6, 2020 CRA Meeting A motion was made by Mrs. Power, second by Mr. Conroy, to approve the Minutes of April 6, 2020. The MOTION was APPROVED by the following vote: Yes: 5 - Mike Thomas, Kimberly Yaney, Megan O'Keefe, Gary Conroy and Christine Power 3. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARING a. Resolution 2020-CRA-01 Adopting Revised Budget FY 2019 - 2020 Ms. Bergeron read the Resolution into the record and provided a Staff Report and recommendation. Chairman Thomas opened and closed the public hearing. A motion was made by Mrs. Power, second by Mr. Conroy, to approve Resolution No. 2020-CRA-01. The MOTION was APPROVED by the following vote: Yes: 5 - Mike Thomas, Kimberly Yaney, Megan O'Keefe, Gary Conroy and Christine Power 4. DISCUSSION ITEMS a. CRA Coordinator's Report Discussed a letter of request to the County for changes to the County Resolution 2014-159 to allow for facade grants for the Board's approval and signature b. Small Scale Improvement Grant Applicant - Patricia Howell 429 N. Ridgewood Avenue Councilwoman Yaney - stated that the property was purchased January 14th of this year, wanted to know if there was a mortgage on the property; what is the intended use of the building. Councilwoman Yaney also wanted to know if we require them to submit bids, Samantha stated yes, they have to submit the invoices, etc Mayor Thomas asked how much money we have for allowances Samantha responded for the small business grants we budgeted $50, 000 at $5, 000 we can do 10 grants A motion was made by Conroy, second by Power, to approve Other Business Item No. AR-2020-4873. The MOTION was APPROVED by the following vote: Yes: 5 - Mike Thomas, Kimberly Yaney, Megan O'Keefe, Gary Conroy and Christine Power 6. ADJOURN This was approve.
