1 . CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Thomas called the Regular Meeting to order at 6:00
p.m. in the Community Center.

There was a silent invocation and pledge of allegiance to
the Flag.
2. PUBLIC HEARINGS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
A. Resolution 2008-R-15 - Ratifying the results of
the November 4, 2008 election; ballot questions
regarding the Charter Amendments
Assistant City Attorney Ciochetti read Resolution 2008-R-15
into the record.
City Clerk Wenzel made a staff presentation. She stated
that the Election went smoothly and read the votes for each
ballot question into the record.
Mayor Thomas noted the difference in the vote for the
deletion of the height limit. He stated this has been a
heated discussion in Edgewater and the vote was close to
50/50.

Councilwoman Rhodes noted that with the other votes the
difference was overwhelming.
Councilwoman Rogers commented that more people voted in
this election than previously.
Mayor Thomas opened the public hearing.
Acting City Attorney Barlow noted for the record that no
members of the public were present.
Mayor Thomas closed the public hearing and entertained a
motion.
Counci~woman Rogers moved to approve Reso~ution 2008-R-15,
second by Counci~woman Rogers.
The MOTION CARRIED 4-0
3 . ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting
adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
