The focus of these analyses was to determine project specific trip generation, distribution,
assignment of traffic and analysis of the resultant impacts over large study areas. Included
assessing air quality impacts of traffic congestion. In many cases, special purpose trip
generation rates were developed for previously undocumented uses or for
higher -than -typical internal capture projections. Trip distribution procedures ranged from
manual methods to major sub -area detailing of urban area models. Developed the first
Monitoring & Modeling Program for a large DRI in the East Central Florida Regional

EXPERIENCE
As president and founder of the company, Mark Dowst brings extensive knowledge and
experience to the firm and to the clients' projects. Mr. Dowst directs firm services for all project
design, permitting, construction services and surveying. He has been responsible for the approval
and permitting of planned commercial developments, medical/institutional facilities, residential

Managed day to day operations on 208,000 acres across two states to confirm the secure
and safe removal of over 700,000 tons of wood annually. Developed and managed budgets.
Ensured all forest activities were executed safely, sustainably, and soundly to protect the
land, Engaged and established relationships with timber dealers, loggers, mills, and
contractors across Southeast ownership. Provided input to consultants who predict growth
and yield off ownership and developed program to ensure predictions were close to actuals.
Participated in strategic planning and gained experience in Board relations to ensure Board
members and Shareholders stay informed throughout the year. Responsible for keeping
forest in compliance with American Tree Farm by abiding by American Forest Foundation
Standards and passing third party audits with zero non -conformances and five notable
practices since 2009. Company Representative to Forest Productivity Coop (VT/NCSU) and
Plantation Management Research Coop (UGA) for pine plantation nutrition and modeling
research and development.
GIS FORESTER AND ROAD MANAGER

Responsible for inventory and database management for over 215,000 acres.
Communicated with consultants on inventory design and edits to the database ensuring
consistency. Developed 10 year soil mapping plan to better understand Spodic soils and
drainage class on the Suwannee Forest. Created and distributed maps for all forest activities.
Instrumental in the development and oversight of pay as cut program to ensure settlements
from dealers were accurate. Gained experience in computer networking and virus
protection. Obtained wildland firefighter red card and part of Suwannee Forest Initial Attack
fire team. Supervised company owned road crew and one contract grader for 1,400 miles of
woods roads. Ensured programs and protocols were in place for equipment safety checks
and maintenance.
