A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SUNSETTING THE
LIBRARY BOARD; THANKING ADVISORY BOARD
MEMBERS FOR THEIR PAST ADVISORY SERVICE;
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
WHEREAS, the Ciro Council has determined that the powers and duties given to the
Library Board fall within the purview of Staff. other City Advisory Boards, and local, State and
Federal agencies: and
WHEREAS, to provide for greater effcieney the City Council desires to sunset and
dissolve the City's Library Board (the "Library Board); and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to ensure that Library Board members are given
appropriate thanks and appreciation for their past advisory service; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cits- Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida:
Section I. The Library Board shall be sunsetted and dissolved.
Section 2. The members of the Library Board are given thanks and appreciation for their
service to the City of Edgewater. Noblemen
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
