Borner, called to order a regular meeting of
Enforcement Board at 7:00 p.m., Thursday,
in the Community Center of City Hall.
ROLL CALL:
Members present were Mrs. Cucanich, Mr. Kozlowski, Mrs. Adle,
Mrs. Strong, Mr. Christian and Mrs. Borner, Chairwoman. Also
present were Pat Di Leva, Code Enforcement/Safety Director,
Beverly Kinney, Louis Panico, Paul Loeffler, Attorney David
Allen Vekelja and Sondra Meager-Pengov, Secretary.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mrs. Adle
presented.
moved to accept the minutes of August 31, 1989 as
Seconded by Mrs. Strong. Motion CARRIED 6-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Case #89-CC-84 Jimmy Owens, Section 11-30, bush hog and
trailers remain on property. A motion was made by Mrs. Cucanich
that the Board found from evidence presented that Mr. Owens is
not yet in compliance. The motion stated, Mr. Owens will have
until October 2, 1989 to remove the bush hog and trailers. If,
after that date, the property is not in compliance, a fine of
$100.00 per day will be imposed until the violation is corrected.
A second was made by Mrs. Strong. Motion CARRIED 6-0.

Case #89-CC-87 and #89-C~- Mr. Di Leva, Code Enforcement Officer
reported these cases have been brought into compliance.
Case #89-CC-85 - Louis Panico, Section 712.00, commercial vehicle
in residential district. Mr. Panico advised the Board of the
difficulty he has had in locating adequate parking for his
vehicle that contains all his tools for his business. A motion
was made by Mrs. Cucanich and seconded by Mr. Christian to give
Mr. Panico until the December 21, 1989 Board meeting in which to
locate an appropriate place to park and store his vehicle.
Motion CARRIED 6-0.
Case #89-CC-86 - Joseph Hall, Section 10-43, grass in excess of
two feet. Mr. Di Leva informed the Board that a subpoena to Mr.
Hall was unable to be delivered by the Police Department. The
Board gave Mr. Di Leva authority to have the City Clerk send a
work order to Public Works to have the grass cut and bill Mr.
Hall.
Case #89-CC-90 - Paul Loeffler, Chapter 11-Section ~19, working
without an occupational license. The history of the case was
presented by Beverly Kinney of the Planning and Zoning
Department.
Mr. Loeffler was represented by attorney David A. Vekelja. Mr.
Vekelja requested an interpretation of light manufacturing from
the Land Development and Regulatory Agency.

The Board gave Mr. Di Leva the authority to have grass that is in
excess of two (2) feet cut by the city and bill the owner.
There being no additional business to come before the Board, it
was moved and seconded to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 8:30
p.m.

INSTRUCTIQNS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 112.3143, FLORIDA STATUTES
ELECTED OFfiCERS:
A person holding elective county, municipal, or other local public office MUST ABSTAIN from voting on a measure which inures
to his special private gain. Each local officer also is prohibited from knowingly voting on a measure which inures to the special
gain of a principal (other than a government agency) by whom he is retained.
In either case. you should disclose the conflict:
PRIOR TO THE VOTE BEING TAKEN by'publicly stating to the assembly the nature of your interest in the measure on
which you are abstaining from voting; and
WITHIN 15 DAYS AFTER THE VOTE OCCURS by completing and filing this form with the person responsible for recording
the minutes of the meeting, who should incorporate- the form in the minutes.
APPOIl'lTED OFFICERS:
A person holding appointive county, municipal. or other local public office MUST ABSTAIN from voting on a measure which
inures to his special private gain. Each local officer also b prohibited from knowingly voting on a measure which inures to the
special gain of a principal (other than a government agency) by whom he is retained.
A person holding an appointive local office otherwise may participate in a matter in which he has a connict of interest. but must
disclose the nature of the conflict before making any allempt to influence the decision by oral or written communication, whether
made by the officer or at his direction.
IF YOU INTEND TO MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO INFLUENCE THE DECISION PRIOR TO THE MEETING AT WHICH
THE VOTE WILL BE TAKEN:
