11-30-1981 o 0 CITY OF EDGEWATER CITIZEN CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD PUBLIC HEARING November 30, 1981 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Russell Prater at 7:00PM in the Edgewater Community Center. ROLL CALL Members present: Vice Chairman Prater, Mr. Hamel, Mr. Williams, Mrs. Kane, Mr. Richardson, Mr. Holahan. Chairman John Zeller was excused. Also present: City Attorney Clay Henderson, Building Off~cial Charles A. Murphy, Mr. Robert Voshell. Mr. Holahan replaced Chairman Zeller as a voting member at this meeting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Richardson moved that the minutes of the November 19, 1981 meeting be approved as read, seconded by Mr. Williams. The motion passed unanimously. PUBlLIC HEARING Vice Chairman Prater reviewed Case. 1.81-CC-8, Robert Voshell, Riverview Pines Mobile Horne Park. He introduced the Board and the complainant, Charles Murphy. The secretary stated the violation and verified that all parties had been properly notified and the proper documents were on file. She then placed Mr. Murphy and Mr. Voshell under oath. Mr. Murphy testified that the list of violations the Board had were correct as of today. He felt that Mr. Voshell had accomplished most of the work, and that the rest should be done within a week. Mr. Voshell concurred with this testimony. Mr. Murphy has requested that under Section 18-10(k), Mr. Voshell number the mobile homes and main- tain a directory. Mr. Voshell agreed. After some questions by the Board, Vice Chairman Prater closed the public hearing. After Board discussion, Mr. Holahan moved to give Mr. Voshell ten days to comply fully. If an Affidavit of Compliance has not been filed by December 10th, he must appear before the Board at their December 17th meeting. Mr. Hamel seconded it. Upon roll call vote, the motion CARRIED 6-0. OLD BUSINESS Case No. 81-CC-9, Howard Temple, was tabled because an affidavit has not been filed. NEW BUSINESS There was some discussion about Mr. Zeller's resignation, which the Council will act on at their December 7th meeting. The decision was made to hold Board elections at the January meeting, as Mr. Richardson and Mr. Williams will not be able to attend the December meeting. ADJOURN Mr. Richardson moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mrs. Kane. The meeting was adjourned.
