CITIZEN CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING
November 19, 1981
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Russell Prater
at 7:00PM in the Edgewater Community Center.
ROLL CALL
Members present: Vice Chairman Prater, Mr. Hamel, Mr. Williams,
Mrs. Kane, Mr. Richardson, Mr. Holahan. Chairman John Zeller was
excused.
Also present: City Attorney Clay Henderson, Building Official
Charles A. Murphy, new Board Secretary Cecelia Moore.
Mr. Holahan will replace Chairman Zeller as a voting member at
tonight's meeting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Holahan moved that the minutes of the October 22, 1981, meeting
be approved as read, seconded by Mr. Richardson. Upon roll call
vote - the,"'motion--CARRIED unanimously. The secretary made note that
the date of August 28 in the section under OLd Business should read
August 27, which was the date of that meeting.
PUBLIC HEARING
Vice Chairman Prater reviewed Case 81-CC-7, Keith Draper. The
secretary read a letter.:from Police Chief Earl D. Baugh dated
November 13, 1981, which stated Mr. Keith Draper was now in com-
pliance with the code. The public hearing was closed by Vice Chairman
Prater. Discussion by the Board followed.
Mr. Holahan moved that the case be dropped from the docket, seconded
by Mrs. Kane. Upon roll call vote, the motion CARRIED unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Vice Chairman Prater next reviewed Case 81-CC-08, Robert C. Voshell,
River View pines Mobile Home Park. Charles Murphy, Building Official,
was present to give the present status of this case. Discussion of
the Board followed.
Mr. Richardson moved to call a special meeting on Monday, November
30th, in order to hear this case, seconded by Mr. Hamel. The time
of the meeting will be 7:00PM. Upon roll call, the motion CARRIED
unanimously.

Vice Chairman Prater then reviewed Case 81-CC-09, Howard Temple,
2013 Kumquat Drive. The Vice Chairman stated he had talked with
Chief Baugh that day and that the Chief will be taking pictures.
Mr. Richardson moved that the Howard Temple case be heard at the
November 30th meeting if the affidavit has been filed for non-
compliance by the police, seconded by Lois Kane. Upon roll call,
the motion CARRIED unanimously.
MISCELLANEOUS
Mr. Richardson asked that he be excused from the December 17th regular
meeting as he will be out of town at that time.
Mr. Holahan moved that the Vice Chairman contact Chairman Zeller
and see if he can determine how long he will be out and what his
intentions are about returning, seconded by Mr. Hamel. Upon roll
call the motion CARRIED unanimously.
ADJOURN
Mrs. . Kane moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr.
Richardson. The meeting was adjourned.
