READING OF MINUTES.

were re:;td. Councilman Hussey moved they be approved as read, seconded by
Councilman Barker and by vote declared CARRIED.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS.

Clerk Circuit Court 3.00
Councilman Barker moved these bills be apuroved ~s rend, paid and be made
part of these minutes, seconded by Councilman Hussey :;md by vote declared

R~PORT~ OF OFFIC~hS.
Councilman Hussey reported that the cannl is overflowing the land on the
enst side and north of Park Ave. Mr. Skipper complained of this condition
and nsked that it be remedied so that they vould nlant thier gardens.
Councilman Hussey reported that he hnd tried to see Mr. Beck but hud been
un able to so far. Councilman Hussey was te continue his efforts and also
te centact the Mosquito centrol in this matter.
SPECIAL C01~~IT~~~S.
M~ Mason presented to the Council tho plnns for a fire station to be built.
on Pork Avo. After some consideration Councilman Hussey moved that the Council
approve tho plums as drawn and that 1~. l~son be appointud to supervise the
building of this station, secemled by Councilmnn Burker and 'by vote declared
CARRIED .
Councilman Barker moved that Mr. Mason be authmrize procure the m~torial ana
drive a well,also a 500 gallon pump, seconded by Ceunoilman Hussey ~nd by
vote declared CARRIKD.
C OMMlm ICAT IONS:
Clerk read a letter frem University ef Flerida. Council instructed the Clerk to
pl~ce this lettor on file.
Clerk also re~d a letter from Mr. Senders on the condition of Boston Road at
Riveredge Acres ~sking the Town of ~~gewater to repair this road. Council
instructed the Clerk te write Mr Sdnders explaining that the Town could not
oomply with his request as this rond had not been accepted by the Town of
Edgewn te r .

ORDIN.AHCES.
A RBSOLUTION ording tho transfer of the Delinquent ~~ fund ~nd the
Permanent improvement fund ~cceunts in the Bank of New Smyrn~ te the
General fund.
It was meved by Councilman Barker ~nd seconded by Councilman Hussey that the
above and foregoing Resolution br adppted by the Town Council of tho Town
of Edgowater, Florida and be spread upen and made purt of tho minutes of
this meeting, held the 28th day of January, A. D. 1948. The roll c~ll vbte

An ordinance relative to restricting Riverside Drive to a residentinl district
from Turget Ave sonth to Beston Rond was taken from the table and after
some discussion Ceuncilman Barker moved that this ordin~nce be laid on the
table indefinitly, seconded by Councilman Hussey and by vote declared CARRIiliD.
Miscellaneous Business.
Councilman Hussey moved that the Street Sup~rvisor be instructed tb collect
the trash twice each month beginning February 1st. 1948 seconded by Council-
man Barker and by vote dealared CARrtIED.
Counc ilmnn Hussey moved that the Town purchaso 5 lengths of 18 "inch tile
for use in the ditch ~t Ocean Ave in order that the bridge ~t this point
m~Y be replaced with shell filII seconded by Councilman Barker and by vote
declared CARRIED.
Councilman Hussey moved that we do now adjourn, seconded by Councilman
B~rker and by vote declared CiiliRIED.
