Council instructed ~r. Ballantyne to get estimates on the work and rep ort
to the Council. .
Atterney French reported having oontacted Itt. Burlesen o~ the Stnte Rond
Depnxtment regarding the lowering mf the traffic light. Mr burleson assured
littornoy ,b'rench thnt it was all right with the State Ron.d Department if the
light wns lowered to 15 feot.
A Reselution on lot cleaning was laid on the table until ~he next regular

tho V. I. J.\. hn.llund the lot ownod by tho 'l'own of Edgewater for a bnseball
diamond for tho youth of Edgewnter. Council agreed to such use of this land tern
tomporurily nnd Mnyor-Col1ncilman Lohmnn is to eontact the V. I. A. nnd soe if
thoy also agree.
MISC~LLANEUOS BUSI~~SS.
The Chief of tho volunteer fire dopt. reported tho need of new parts for the
Indinn fire pumps nnd turned over a list of parts to tho Council. Also the
neodof three new extinguishers, two acid and one foam type. Council instructed
the Clerk to order the parts for the fire pumps, but took the matter of the
fire extinguishers under consideration
