Suporvisor Bnll~ntyne reported that the bridge on Ocoun Avo w~s in need of ropuirs
It was ulso reDorted that two bridges on the old county rond were in noed of
repairs. Council istructed the Clerk to purchase 12 peicos of 2x8in. 18 ft,long
12 peices 2x8 in. 12 ft. long and 15 Ibs. of spikes for the repair of those
bridgos.
COMMUNICAT IONS.
Attornoy ]'ronch road a lotter which he had roceived from tho clerk of tho Circuit
Court regnrding copies of transfer of property in ~dgewator, which could bo
furnished the Town at ~ cost of ten conts for euch copy. Council requested
attorney ~rench to write the Clerk of the Circuit Court thnt the Tovm of Edgewater
would be glrid to av~il itself Jf this service.
ORDINdW2S.
Clerk asked Council if they wished to take Ordinance No. 154 which regulnted the
erection of signs on the highw~y, from tho tabla for considerution. Councilman
l!'uller moved that this ord innnce bo left on the tablo, seconded by Counc ilmmn
Hussey nnd by voto declarod C~I~.

.l~s the result of much discussion over the complaint to tho Council of the
soliciting of businoss on the highway, Councilmnn Fuller moved that Attorney
:b'rench be instruc ted to draw up an Ofdin:'tDCe prohi bi t ing tho sol ic it ing of
business or trado on the highway of stroets of the Town,seconded by Councilman
Hussey and by vote declared C1U{RI~D.
11he question of signs on the higlwm.:}7 wns again brought up. Counc il requested
Attorney French to draw up an Ordinance prohibiting signs from extending more
than two feet over the right of way or 31 feJt from the center of the high-
way.
