READING OF MINUTES.
The':minutes of the regular meeting held in V. I. A. hall on November 27th
and the two Special meetings held on November L5th and 21st 1946 were
read. Councilman Hussey moved they be approved as read, seconded by
Councilman Lohman and by vote declnarod CARRIED.

OFFICERS REPORTS.
Clerk reported having seen Mrs. Smith regarding the posts on her property
Mrs. Smith explained that she had had her property surveged and that the
posts are on her property line and that she intends tb leave them there.
Regardin8 the bill of Ninety dollars claimed by Cadell & Jackson the
Clerk ~&tl paid the Sixty dollars owing Cadell & Jackson to Mr. Jackson
explaining that the Town held a cancelled check for the Thirty dollars
This satisfied Mr. Jackson that all claims against the Town of Edgewater
were paid.
Mayor Baumgartner reported on progress of the Florida Light and Power
situation,explnining,that the Council had written to New Smyrna Beach
offering the sum of $12000 for the distribution system. in the Town o.f
Edgewater and calling upon them to accept or reject this offer on or
before Nov. 30th 1946. The ~~yor stated that if the offer was not
accepted the Town would call for bids for a new distribution system
which could be installed in from Thirty to sixty days. I
SPECIAL. COMMI TTEES
Mayor-counci~~n Baumgartner moved that the Planning and Budget Co~ttee
be invited to meet with the Council immediately after the regular meeting
to be held on Dec. 11th, 1946,to discuss the report.submitted to the
Council at a pervious meeting, seconded by Councilman Hussey and by vote
declared CARRIED. Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Fee to this effect.
COMMUNICATIONS
Alet ter was read from the Wiggcrt-Dean engineering Co. of Daytond B'cach
regarding future MUnicipal planning. Mayor Baumgartner moved t~~t Attorney
French contact the Wiggert-Denn Co for the purpose of getting more de-
tailed inform~tion nnd report to the Council,seconded by Councilman
Hussey and by vote declared CARRIED.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATION OFFICIALS TO ~IGN CHECKS OF THE TOWN OF
ED GEWATER , FrmITDA.
Tne abovc and foregoing Resolution was properly introduced by Council-
nnn A. Hussey who. moved its adoption, which said Motion was seconded b.y
Councilman Lohman and upon a ro~ ca~l vote the same was duly adgpted.

Supervisor Moore called the Councils attention to the fact that a drng-
line was at work on the River fltont and that now is the opportunity fo,r
the Town nnd citizens who are interested in having their water front
property improved to take advantage of this opportunity while the drag- .
line is here. Yr. Roth and Mr. Wiloox spoke strong;J.:y in favor of the
Town employing this service to improve Town property opposite streets
and to eliminate the unsightly dump at the foot of Park -Ave. After
same discussion Counci~~n Hussey moved that the Town ~~e~uSc of this
service providing the expense docs not exceed.~.$~OO .00 seconded by
Councilman Lob.mn.n ahd by vote declared CARRIED. .
Councilman Lohman in seconding this motion stated it would cost the
Town nothing as the funds for this work would be taken from the Per.
Imp. Fund, which is ~~de up of donations of the salaries of the COlmcil
nnd thier fees from the Mayors Court,
Mr. Mcmurrey reported that the sign rending traffic light ahead was a
~~znrd to traffic entering the highway from Palmway.&t. as it obstuucts
the view from that angle. Mayor Council~~n Baumgartner requested Council-
man Hussey to investigate and report at the next meeting.
Councilman Hussey reported to the Council a request from Mrs. Be~le
smith that the Town plnce a sign at the Post Office restricting parking
to Five minutes. Mayor Council~~n Baumgartner moved that a Permit be
issued Mrs, Smith to place a silgn in front of the ~ost Offie limiting
parking to ten minutes 15 feet either side of sign seconded by Councilman
Lohman nod by vote declared CARRIED. Councilman Hussey was requested to
inform Mrs. Smith of thi nction.
There being no further business Councilman Lob.mn.n moved we do now ndjourn
seconded by Councilman Hussey an by vote declared CARRIED.
