Streot Supervisor h'l.pp reported that the concrete posts,that he had intended

was asked to investignte and find the posts, if possible.

Jacksonville, regnrding a water system for the ~OvTI1 of .~dgcwater.

present. ~here were some in favor of n wnter system for Edgewater and nbout
the same number ngninst it. At the suggestion of the citizens present
vouncilman H.ussey moved thnt a committee of five be appointed to cnnvass
the 'fown and aseertuin who would und who would not subscribe to a water system.

ciation to invl.Hltignte the cost of busipcss licenses us set by the "J.own of
.u;dgowator. vontending that the town had no right to set the cost of licenses
in eXcess of fifty pvr cent of what tho ~tntQ charges for liconses in similar
businQss.
P. N. Loveland rend n letter of opinion from Attorney J.U.Gillospio contending
tlli'l.t the law docs not allow the Tovmsof .u;dgewator to charge in Qxcess of fifty-
per cent of ~tate charges.
Attorney ~'rench stated that ,in his opinion Edgewnter is within its rights
and after invostigntion he would write a letter t~~x.
