The semi-mont~ly report of the Town lrorshall was read approved
and filled.

COMMUNICATIONS.

A petition was presented to the Council by Mr. Henry Khulhoff ~
and property holders on Park Ave. asking that tho Town of Edgewater ~.,
give permission to tho City Of New Smyrna Beach to construct a
light and power line to serve tho people l.l.long the,;':West end of par:p
Ave. and 1~. Khulhoff's paint plant.
The matter was refored te Mr. Garman as chairman of the cemm-
itee on Light and >>ower, for invostigation and report.
Mr. Branon asked the Council for the approval of a Subdivision
which he has surveyed and proposes to open. This matter was refer-
ed to Councilman Patch for investigation and recommendations.
Mrs. FaY~e ter asked for permission ~o ~asturo and stable
two riding ho ses in the town limits, on h ~ property. The Marshall,
was ins true to investigate tho Proposi; ,on.
NEW BUSIN~SS.
Mr. Fay Cory reported that sholl for the roads could be
bought for Mr. Daniels of Edgewater at $ 1.00 per yd.

Since all of t.he Town is being sup".J1ied by the City of .New Smyrna
Beach, and since the City has recently installed a nU!'1ber 0f
services, and is prepared to put oth~rs in upon 1"e~uest, it has
the effect of discrimination for our area to be without current.

Industrial karine Coopany, which is a manufacturing conC3rn.\
~rr. f.uhlhoff, who also signs this letter, .wishes to point out that
unless current is furnished at once he will be obli~ed to put
in new and different type of machinery.
