The clerk read tho minutes of the ReQular Meeting ef July 24,1946
and the minutes ef the Speoial Meeting of August 5,1946.
It was moved by Ceuncilman Patch and seoonded by Councilman Lohman
that the minutes of the regular meeting be approved and that the min-
utes of tho special meeting be rewritton as oorrected and presented at
the next regular meeting. By Vote the motion was unanimously carried.
~he Clerks monthly report was read and ordered filed with the minutos.

OFFICERS REPORTS.
Marshall Thomas reported that a New Switch is needed on the
siren. He was instructed by tho Mayor to purchase one or have the
old one fixed.
St. Supervisor Moore reported that soveral parts of the road
need'scraping. especially the part south of the railroad on .Park
Ave. He was instructed by the Council to hire a man to help him
and to fepair the streots.

Mr. Garman. Chairman of the Electric Cocrmitto~asked the Coun-
cil, if this oommit~Q.o was still f?upposod tp function. Tho Council
adVised Mr. Garman that the committeo wa~s~ill in authority to
function with him as Ohnirman.
C2M~mNICA'llIONS .

Mr. Robert S. Fee presented a communication to the Council in
which he asked tentative approval of a project whorein he proposed
to build a Modern and Adequate Electric Light System for the 'l'own
of ~dgewater. Florida.
It was moved by Councilman Patch and seconded by Coucilman Lohman
that the clork be instructed to inform Mr. Fee that tho Council
would oonsidor specifioations and cost data on this project, with
the distinot understanding that no obligations or expense should be
inourred by the Town of Edgewater or its property owners.
Copies of letters are made part of the minutes.
By vote the motion was unanimously oarried.
The Council iBstructod the olerk to write to the City Of Now
Smyrna Beach, Fla. asking for a peply to the Resolution of the
Town of Edgewator, adopted February 8,1946 offering to purchaso
any equity which the City of New Smyrna Boach olaimed to have
in the elootrical distribution system in the Town of Edgewater.
The clerk's letter is attaohed as a part of these minutes.
NEW BUSINESS.

1~. Brannon presented a map of a Proposed Subdivision of
Lots NO.-ll and No.- 12 in TurgQt Torrace.
It was moved by Councilman Eatch and seconded by Vice-1!ayor-
Oouncilman Lohman that tho said Subdivision be approved. By vote
tho motion was unanimously carried.
The transfer of licences from David & 1:!innie l!'ransen to
Alma Moyer were approved.
Buildin~ Permits were approved for; Elmer Bane, F.C.Cory
and A.R.Jones.

until October 1st, 1946. By vote th)e motion was unanimously
curried.
