Meeting called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor Councilman Stalnaker.

READING OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the meeting held Nov.Sth were read whereupon Mayor
Councilman Stalnaker moved they be approved as read, seconded by
Councilman Baumgartner and by vote declared carried.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS.
The following bills were read:
Pentland & Robertson $90.00
David A. Thomas 2.25
Olive B. Parker 1.25
Guy Spargo .50
Mayor Councilman Stalnaker moved that the bills be approved and paid
seconded by Councilman Baumgartner and by vote carried.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
The Superviser's and Marshall's reports were presented and accepted.
Mr. Humphreys of the Committee investigating the danger which might
be expected from the Gas Tank located near the R.R. track at Park Av.
reported that while the tank of gas of this type is always a hazard
from all that he could find out the danger from this tank is nil.
He. being in favor of allowing this tank to remain, Mr. Humphreys
then suggested that an ordinance be drawn up making it unlawful to
store any other kind of gas or fuel in this tank or any other tank
in the town of Edgewater.
Attorney T.U. Gillespie was instructed to draw up such an ordinance.
NEW BUSINESS.
Mayor Councilman Stalnaker brought up the matter of a rest room in
the ell at the rear of the V.I.A. building when materials would be
available. This question was laid on the table for further consider-
ation, as was the matter of rebuilding the town dock.
Moved by Mayor Councilman Stalnaker, seconded by Councilman Baumgartner,
that the town purchase a thousand dollar (41.000.00) bond and by
vote declared carried.
Mayor Councilman Stalnaker moved that the town clerk be instructed
to take out a certificate of deposit for sixteen hundred ($1,600.00)
dollars seconded by Councilman Baumgartner and by vote declared
carried and town clerk so instructed.
Moved by Mayor Councilman Stalnaker that Atty. Gillespie be instructed
to draw up a bill, ,to add the coat of lot cleaning that remained
unpaid to the current year's taxes instead of placing a lien against
the property, seconded by Councilman Baumgartner, put to vote and
carrled.xThis bill to be submitted to the next legislature.
The Town Clerk was instructed to write to Mr. W.M.Colby and inform him
that his lots are a fire hazard and must be cleaned, also request that
he authorize the town to do this work.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Mayor Councilman
Stalnaker to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Baumgartner, motion
carried by vote.
