READING OF MINUTES.
The Minutes of the meeting of December. 1st, 1942 were read, whereupon
~ounci1man Stalnaker moved that they be approved as read, seeo~ed by Counci~
man Bailey and by vote declared uARRIED.

councilman Stalnaker moved that these bills be approved, be paid and be made
a part of the minutes, seconded by Councilman Bailey and by vote dedlared
CAHRIED .
REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
The Mayor brought to the attention of Council the need for repairs to the
~ock at the foot of Ocean Ave.
The Clerk reported that on December 2nd, 1942 he was served with a summons
in an Injunction Suit brought by P.B.Dick to baIt the collection of Taxes
on his property located in .illdgewater. Also that this summons had bee~ turned
over to Attorney Gillespie for his attention.
~he Clerk further reported that E.R. and M.Lohman had completed their pay-
ments on a contract to purchase Lots 11,12,13 and 14, Block B, oection 2,
highland Shores Sub. and that a deed would be delivered to them.
the Marshall reported that the weeds and dry grass around the Edgewater Inn
was a fire hazard and Council instructed the ~lerk to ~,ri te the Owner.
The Marshall further reported that J.J.Lofton could not clean the ~urner Lots
but that Ralph Giddens would do the work for ~5'.00 per lot and uouncil in-
stricted the Amrshall to give the work to uiddens.
Mr. Moore reported on the Ocean Ave. Dock and the hauling of sand shell from
South Riverside Drive and placing it on other streets.
~ttorney Gillespie reported progress on the matter of express deliveries in
Edgewater.
COMMUNICATIONS.
A letter dated December 5'th,1942 was read from Agnes E.Parmlee. ~he Ulerk was
instructed to write the owner of the property to the East.

GOMMUEICATIONS. continued.
A Petition signed by 47 Property Owners and 20 Residents of ~dgewater request-
ing the co~~cction once a month of Dry Tras~was read to Council by the ~lerk.
After some-discussion of the varlhaus questions involved a motion was made as
follows.;
That dry househo~d trash will be col~ected by the fovm ~ruck once each Month,
that only dry trash will be collected, IF p~ced in a box, barrel or somesub-
stantial container, which wil~ be emptied and left,
That Tin cans or other such containers must be mashed flat or rendered imposs-
ib~e of holding water,
That the trash container must be placed at the fronj of the Property in an
accessible place,
That Col~ections will be made in the District .North of Park AVQ, on the jj'irst
Monday of each Mont~, and in the District oouth of Park Ave., and on Park Ave.
on the first Tuesday of each Month, the above being moved by Councilman Bai~ey
was seconded by Gouncilmanland by vote declared unanimous~y CARRIED.

.NEW BUSINESS.
The question of a license for the Pine Breeze Tourist Camp was discussed with
Q.E.Hardiman the Owner. (;ounci~ ru~ed that the manner of rental, i.e. Month
week or by the day made no difference as there were signa which indicated a
Tourist Camp.

~ouncilman Stalnaker moved tbat we adjourn, seconded by ~ounci~n Southard
and by vote declared Carried. Time 9:12 P.M.
