REA;)ING OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the meetings of February 6th and 16th were read, whereupon
Councilman Bailey moved that they be approved as read, seconded by Council-
man Southrrrd and by vote declared CARRIED.

RElmRTS OF OFF! CERS .
The Clerk read his finanical reports for the month of February. Councilman
Bailey moved that they be made a part of these minutes, seconded by Council-
man Southard and by vote declared CARRIED.
The Clerk reported that L.E.perry had requested that the Town clean his lots
and bill him for the work. This in reply to a latter written him.
Mr. Btaes and Mr. Moore filed time reports for the month of February.
Mr, Moore reported ~at the first sridge on Park Ave. West of the F.E.C.Right
of Way should be repaired. He was requested to see Oommissioner Beck.
COMMITTEE REPORTS.
Attorney Gillespie reported on progress made on Petetion for Express Deliver~e
ies.
The Committee on recording of Incorporation Proceedings reported thnt these
were now being recorded at De Land.
The Committee on Air Raid Alarm reported progress.
COMMUNICATIONS .
The Clerk read letters from D.L.washburn dated Feb.2 .,1943 and from Chas.
Ackley dated Feb. 15th, 1943.
The Ackley letter was refered to Attorney Gillespie for answering and the '- _._
Clerk was instructed to write to P.B.Dick requesting that he clean his lot
to eli~nate a fire hazard.

ORDIlfANCES .
Ordinance No. 115 entitled," AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO SET FIRE TO
OR BURN PAPER, TRASH OR OTHER COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL, BRUSH, WEEDS, GRASS OR
OTHER GROWTH ON IDTS IN EDGEWATER, FIDRIDA, EXCEPT UNDER PROPER PROTECTION,
AND PROVIDING PENALTIES JroR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." was read in full.
Councilman Bailey moved that Ordinance No. 115 be passed upon first reading,
seconded by Councilman Southard and by vote declared CARRIED.
CouncilmD.n Bailey moved that the requirement of reading Ordinance No. 115' on
second reading be waived and that said Ordinance be placed upon final passag
seconded by Councilman Southard and by vote declared unanimously CARRIED.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Southard
that Ordinance No. 115 be passed and adopted and a roll call being taken on
this motion resulted as follows;

Councilman. George L.Bailey. Yes.
Councilman. Henry Stalnaker. Absent.
UNFUfiSHED BUSINESS.
The Clerk reported that he had not received anl'>l reply to the latter written
E.R.Ferley in regards to the condition of his...ilot.
lmW BUSINESS.
Councilman Southard moved that Lot 15, Block B, Section Two, Highland Shores
Sub. be sold for the sum of Fifty Dollars, the purchaser to pay the 1943
State and County Taxes, seconded by Councilman Bailey and by vote declared
CARRIED.
Councilman Bailey moved that we do now adjourn, seconded by Councilman
Southard and by vote declared CARRIED. Time 9 :15 P.M.
