HELD IN V.I .A.HALL ON DECEMBER 27th, 1943.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Councilman Henry Stalnaker.

READING OF MINUTES.
The minutes, of the meeting of December 13th, 1943 were read, Whereupon Council-
man Southard moved that they be approved as read, seconded by Councilman
Stalnaker and by vote declared CARRIED.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS.
The following bills were read:

Councilman Southard moved that these bills be

OFFI CERS REPORTS.
The Clerk reported the sale of Lot 5,Block D, Section 1, Highland Shores Sub.
to Olen Matthews under contract for the sum of $32.50. This was approved by
Council.
Mr. Wm. Beaumont's bid of $25.00,for painting the Town Truck, was read.
Mr. Moore and Mr. Thomas filed their work reports for Dec. 1st to 15th Inclusiv
Mr. Moore reported that the truck raditor needed repairs and he was ordered
to have it done.
The ~~rshall reported that Mr. leddin had made a price of $8.00 for repainting
the Town Speed sign at the South end of Town.
NEW BUSINESS.
Councilman Southard moved that the contract for painting the Town Sign at the
South end of Town be given to Mr. P.D.Leddin at his price of $8.00, the sign to
be hauled by the truck to Mr. Leddin's shop by Mr. moore, seconded by Council-
man Stalnaker and by vote declared CARRIED.

Counci~nauthorized the Clerk to accept a $10.00 deposit as an option to buy
Lots 26,27,28,29 and 22, Block F, Section 2, Highland Shores Sub., for a period
of 30 Days.
Councilman Stalnaker moved tfu~t we do now adjourn until 7:30 P.M. ,Wednesday
December 29th, 1943, seconded by Councilman Southard and by vote declared
CARRIED. . Time 7: 54 P.M.
