READING OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the meeting of February 9th, 1944 were read, whereupon Council
man Southard moved that they be approved us road, seconded by Councilman
Bailey and by, vote doclarod CARRIED.

REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
The Clerk reported that deeds for lots 22,26,27,28 and 29, nIl in Block F,
Section Two, Highland Shores Sub. had been delivered to U.R.Parker and that
deed previously made for these lots had been cancelled.
The clerk reported that T.J.OtHagan advised under date of Feb.18th that the
sholl on his property was not for sale, and also that the State Road Dept.
advised under date of Fob.16th taht the tree on the Highway and Lamont St.
had been removQd as requested by Council.
Mr. Moore and Thomas filed reports for the period Fob.lst to 15th.
Mr. Mooro reported on work done on the beach approach from Riverside drive
and located East of the Town Hall. He also reported on tree .on property on
Oakridge Ave., which tree was reported as dangerous to traffic.

Councilman Bail.ey moved the adoption of the Resolution, seconded by Council-
man SOQthard and adopt~ the roll call vote being as follows:

NEW BUSINESS.
The clerk reported an offer of $115.00 for Lots 25,27 and 30, Edgewatcr High-
Lands Sub. The question was raised about the clearing of certain trees in the
middle of Hubbell Street so~to allow froe access to these lots. Councilman
~ailey suggested that a committee be appointed to look over the co~itions and
report at the next moeting. The Mayor appointed Councilmen Bailey and Southard

NEW BUSI11ES. Continued.
Councilman Baile~ moved that the Town Clerk be and he is hereby authorized to
pay to Davis M.ForstQr~the sum of $2.76 due the certificate Holder of Town of
Edgawater Tax Sale CertificatQ No. 86 of the Sale of June 6th, 1927, that Mr.
Forster be advllscd that this Certificate has been cancelled as of record in
tha County Clerk's Office and that a copy of the Certificate be filed with a
copy of the letter to Mr. Forster'~: in the Town's Files, seconded by CoUncilman
Southard and by vote declared CARRIED.
The Attorney .as instructed to draw a resolution Transfering the sum of $13.15
from the Delinquent Tax Fund to the General Fund.
Councilman Bailey moved that the Clerk be authorized to purchase 500 duplicate
Building permit Applications for the sum of $12.75 from Burgman Brothers,
seconded by Councilman Southard and by vote declared CARRDED.
