IiEADING OF MINUTES
Minutes of the meeting of june 14th were read. Motion made by
Councilman Bailey and seconded by Councilman Southard thut the minutes be
approved as read. Upon vote, this motion CARRIED.
BILIS & ACCOUNTS
The following bills were read and prescnted:-
Whitney Hardware Co., $1.20
Paul D. Leddin 3.00
Motion was made by Councilman Bailey and seconded ny COur.Ci~l
Southard that these bills be paid. Upon vote, this motion CARRIED.
OFFICERtS REPORTS & C01~ICATIONS
Clerk's report was submitted regarding the collection of taxes
for the year 1943. The Supervisorts and l~rshallts reports were presented.
Motion mude by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Southard, that
these reports be accepted, and approved as read. Upon vote, this motion
carried. The Supervisor also reported that he had painted the flag pole.
The resignation of Olive B. Parker as Tovm Clerk was read, and upon vote
by the Council, it was tabled until the next regular meeting.
NE'iV BUSI:NESS
Legion
The AmeriCa~ sent in a request to borrow two barrels belonging to
the Town which they wanted to use for lemonade barrels at their 4th of july
Celcbro.tion, a.nd thq Council agreed to loan them to the Legion.
The Youth Center requested the loan of the Ping Pong Table, which
the Town owns. After discussing the matter, the Council agreed to mo.lcQ a
temporary loan of the table until such times as they should request the
return of it.
Harry Moore requested a two weekts vacation in order to have some
Medical attention and Dental work done.Motion was made by COill1cilman Bailey
seconded by Mayor-Councilman Stalnaker, that this leave be granted. Upon
vote, this motion CARRIED.
There being no further business to tra.nsact at this time, a motion
was in order for adjournment. Motion was made by CounciL~an Southard, and
seconded by Councilman Bailey that the meeting adjourn. Upon vote, this
motion CARRIED and the meeting adjourned at 8:30 P. M.
